Contest 18: Who Am I?

The challenge here is to identify some of Andrew's assignments, or people related to them, by the brief clues. First names only were needed.
1. Based on what you know of Andrew's
assignments I am the oldest person he has taken home. I worked with my
wife early in my life.
2. I am a historical figure made famous by William Shakespeare. Andrew
tried to teach a class about my famous battlefield speech.
3. Hopeless in the face of disregard for human rights I met Andrew in a
desert and began a crusade that started with some photographs and
saught the
help of a senator.
4. My stumble into the dark side of technology prompted one of the few
noted outbursts of rage from Andrew.
5. In a very Merlinesque style Andrew mysteriously delivered my child
to my estranged mother.
6. One day in school I learned about Andrew's first mission as an AOD
and admitted my dream job to Tess.
7. I found myself in a modern day "Exodus" setting and witnessed Andrew
"passover" the door of my seedy tenement.
8. A temporarily homeless Andrew brought me home one night after I was
beaten.
9. While I grieved for my son, Andrew ministered to my flock and spoke
at my son's funeral.
10. I was rather fond of teasing Andrew about his cooking and also took
a liking to his co-worker, Monica.
11. One night, tormented by visions caused by my demonic girlfriend, I
saw Andrew in my dream.
12. Andrew descended upon my blues museum where he stayed for a bit in
the basement.
