Contest 12: Encoded Episodes

The object this time was to try and break the codes that the episode titles were written in. Only 4-7 seasons' titles were used. The answers as well as the nature of the code are at the bottom.

1. Thief of Hearts (backwards)
2. The Empty Chair (the first letter was followed by an "a", the second "ab", and so on until the last letter was followed by letters "a-l".)
3. Reasonable Doubt ("r" was followed by "A", "E" by "B", and so on until the last "T" was followed by "o".)
4. Buy Me a Rose (each letter in the title was followed by the letter that follows it in the alphabet.)
5. Then Sings My Soul (every couple of letters was reversed. The "t" and "h" were flipped, the "e" and "n", and so on.)
6. Such a Time as This (vowels were removed from the title.)
7. Fool for Love (the title was put backwards like in #1 and then every couple of letters was flipped like in #5.)
8. Beautiful Dreamer (every letter was replaced by the one following it in the alphabet. so "b" became "c", "e" became "f" and so on.)
9. Flights of Angels (every letter was replaced by the one preceding it in the alphabet. so "f" became "e", "l" became "k", and so on.)
10. Redeeming Love (the vowels were replaced by other letters. The first vowel, an "e", was replaced by "a", the second vowel, another "e", was replaced by "b", then the last vowel "e" was replaced by "f".)11. The Journalist (here the letters in the title were repeated one time more each letter.)
12. Labor of Love (this was just scrambled)
